Hello and welcome fourth grade Spanish students!
I am glad to be your Spanish teacher this year. I’ve been busy in our classroom getting things ready. We are going to have a fun and exciting year. We are going to continue to improve our Spanish proficiency and learn about the different cultures that are part of the Spanish speaking world. We will also get to learn about other classrooms from all over the world and find out how the children in those classrooms are the same as us and how they are different than we are.
During the first couple of days of class, we will get to know each other and your classmates. I have planned interactive classroom activities that will help you get to know your classmates. We will find out what special things are interesting to you. What do you like to do in your free time? What kind of books do you like to read? What would you like to learn more about in Spanish class? How do you plan on being successful this school year? What do you expect from me to help you be your best in my class?
You will also learn the classroom rules, expectations, and routines. Also, we will write down personal academic goals to work towards in Spanish class.
See you in room 209!
